(Roman Temple 44 km)

The village of Bekka is a few kilometers beyond Yanta. To reach the temple, which is at the top of the village near the mosque, turn right up the hill then right again.
The north and south walls of this large temple are fairly well preserved and the podium (floor), the substructure and four  courses of the cella wall can be seen from the north.

This temple has been crowded by the modern village and suffers from several modern additions. Nevertheless, the view from this high point with mount Hermon nearby, makes an excursion to Bekka worthwhile.
