Al Khaimah The Growing Investment Hub
Ras Al Khaimah is the
fourth largest Emirate in the UAE in terms of area and population, with
dynamic investment opportunities. Major economic developments are underway
with the start of oil exploration, the setting up of a free trade zone,
expansion of the cement industry, the world-class ceramic and
pharmaceutical sectors, and the booming construction industry. Potential For Tourism Tourism is another
attractive area for investment. Ras Al Khaimah, with its cultural

farms - is the ideal tourist destination. The National Museum, a splendid
two-storeyed fort, had foundations dating back to the 18th century, when
it defended the town from attack. It was used as a residence by the Qaimi
Rulers Al Khaimah, and later as police headquarters and prison. The fort
is built of stone covered with gypsum plaster. The museum exhibits a
variety of relics and fossils which date back to different historical
periods. Many rooms without displays, including the wind tower, are open
to the public. Ras Al Khaimah International Airport Operating 24 hours, it is located on one of the busiest international air routes, midway between Europe and Australia and has the capacity to handle all types of aircraft including wide body jets and supersonic transport. The airport is situated only ten km from Ras Al Khaimah town. Ras Al Khaimah Mina Saqr Port Ras Al Khaimah Port was built in 1977, and has since become renowned for its convenient location and efficient service. Mina Saqr has two wharves and serves launched and ships for re-export to neighbouring destinations. Potential For Tourism Tourism is another

The center comprises an area of 37400 sq.m, with an air conditioned hall and facilities of international standards.
