There are 3 campsites in this oasis. One is actually very, very expensive, while the 2 other ones, give a more normal value for money.

RESTAURANTS AND ALTERNATIVES
All campsites offer food for its guests. Quality and value for money is not fantastic, but out here in the desert, you haven't got too much choice.

CHANGE MONEY
Nothing. Do this before you head out here. Last chances are (depending on where you're coming from) Tataouine, Gabes or Douz.

TRANSPORT
The only way of getting out here is either by organized trips or your own rented car.

IMPORTANT
If you go by the way past Tamezret, you can get out to this oasis which many Tunisian tour companies try to make you believe that you need a 4 wheel drive with experienced driver to reach.
