Leave the area of Bass at the southern entrance of Tyre and take the road to Ayn Baal. The village lies 7 kilometers southeast of Tyre and its most important monument is the mosque.
    The columns of this building have been taken from an older temple dedicated to the god Baal, after whom the village was named.
