Summer Resort

    This is a place of water, which everywhere flows in fountains, springs and falls. Sîr Danniyyeh is also famous for its orchards and flowers. Popularly known as Sîr (pronounced "Seer"), this resort can be reached from Tripoli. It is well provided with restaurants and hotels, including an interesting traditional hotel that features outdoor dining.
    From Sîr, hikers can walk to the Cedars in about six hours by way of Lebanon's highest peak, Qornet es-Sawda (3,088 meters).
