(Noah's Tomb 9 km)

One kilometer beyond Zahleh, this 40 meter-long 2.5 meter-wide structure, located in the village mosque, is said to be the tomb of Noah. According to the legend, a large lake once covered the now fertile plain, and it was there that Noah's ark landed after the flood.
Ancient Arabic inscriptions abound on the walls of the mosque, which seems to have been constructed of reused Roman stones.
The village itself has a long and colorful history, with nearby ruins of different periods, including Roman.
